Last.fm Added to Facebook. Have I mentioned that I love Facebook? With every new application released on the Facebook Platform, it’s making it more and more likely that Facebook will be the dominant social network in my life… How about you?

Fresh from the Labs: Google Gears. Google takes a bold step in offering an application that will enable web applications to work offline. I can’t wait to see it in action…

Google Gears (BETA) is an open source browser extension that enables web applications to provide offline functionality using following JavaScript APIs: Store and serve application resources locally; Store data locally in a fully-searchable relational database; Run asynchronous Javascript to improve application responsiveness.

The Legend of Bo. I was a huge Bo Jackson fan growing up. This article reminded me as to why I liked him as much as I did: he was a great guy who did amazing things on the field, and never let it get to his head. (via Jeff Croft)

ColdFusion 8 Beta Released. One of our clients’ sites uses ColdFusion, so I think we’ll be grabbing this and installing it on a non-critical box… Hopefully the installer won’t muck things up like the Photoshop Beta did.

Last.fm Acquired by CBS for $280 million. CBS: Please don’t screw Last.fm up.

iTunes 7.2 Released. It’s only a matter of hours before DRM-free tunage (aka iTunes plus tunes) becomes available through the store. (via)
